¨ WELCOME TO BENEDETTO'S @ BEST WESTERN: This is our first meeting back at Best Western. We left here 4 years ago when Hurricane Charley came a callin'. Since everything was destroyed, we held meetings for five consecutive Thursday's in the rubble filled Best Western parking lot that gained national attention. Luckily, the American Legion Post-103 gave us a home where we have been up until last Thursday. We sincerely thank the American Legion for their meeting place all those years. We now are looking ahead to increasing our membership and hope you enjoy the new restaurant facility. Please talk to your friends, past members, or anyone who is interested in joining our Kiwanis Club.

¨ KIWANIS INT'NL CONVENTION IN ORLANDO : Last week, Florida District hosted 5,500 Kiwanians and their families to Orlando for the 93rd annual I-CON. Representing our Club was Pres. The new KI President is Don Canaday of the Kiwanis Club of Meridian Hills, Indiana. One of the amendments approved was to allow Clubs to have the option of a two year term for Club Officers.

Club needs to sell 120 tickets at $10 each and the club keeps it all! Tom Hannon is Chairing the event. Once you buy your ticket, call the number on it to confirm.
