¨ BOARD VOTES UNANIMOUSLY TO MOVE JULY 3 : Tuesday, your Board of Directors discussed the matter of moving our Club meeting site back to Best Western. This has been a major concern to the Board and members the past couple years. As per the bylaws, the decision to move a club meeting location is a Board decision.

Several months ago, the Board did ask members for their input to stay, or move. There was no mandate as the response was split 50/50. The Board then made the final decision to stay here. Two committees were formed to look at food and facilities. Your Board had hoped our meeting location would show improvements over the past several months, however, lack of improvements forced the issue to resurface again.

Tuesday night, your Board made a unanimous decision to move back to Best Western, effective July 3 . The Board's hopes members will unite and enjoy the Best Western once again and be an enticement to get new members. It is believed that many members, who seldom come to our meetings will start returning on a regular basis. The meal charges will increase from $10 to $13 when the move is made and be reflected on the 4th quarter dues/billing. The BW will provide a served meal, no buffet. The Board thanks the American Legion for giving us a home for nearly 4 years since Hurricane Charlie. We wish them the best.
