¨ WHAT OUR CLUB DID: Thanks to former member Robin Lindecamp, before she left, she made an appeal to Kiwanis to help Janet Walker, a disabled lady at Alligator Creek Mobile Home Park. Janet is deaf and crippled since age 3, she's now 59. Her bicycle is her only freedom. Her old bike was beyond repair so Robin asked if we'd help, we did. Robin said when she was presented her new 3-wheeler, she does not speak, only does sign language and the noise she made when she saw the new bike was that of pure joy. Her hands are crippled but they were going a mile a minute to tell how grateful she was to Kiwanis Robin said. We do make a difference! Thanks Robin! ((Photo available in our KiwaNEWS handout)).
