¨  MEMBER AL CLARK: On Aug. 6, Al fell in his home and remains in CRMC. We’ll get a report today about his condition. Call 639-3131, or stop in, he’s in room #2217.

¨  PANCAKE DAY: Joan Greene, Chair, said we should net $2,000 for our efforts. If you still have tickets or money, please turn into Treasurer Bob Naylor.

¨  ANNUAL INSTALLATION BANQUET: Vice President JJ Gerow is chairing the annual Installation Banquet which is set for Sunday, Oct. 7 at the new Isles Yacht Club. Details coming soon!

¨  OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE FUND RAISER: On Thursday, Oct. 11, our club meeting will be at Outback Steakhouse in Murdock and not here at the American Legion that day. Tickets are $10 for a steak, salad, and potatoes. Joan Greene has tickets for 200 people; no program, just great fellowship. We get 100% of the $10. All you have to do is leave a tip. Members buy the $10 ticket in advance and you’ll be given an $8 credit on your billing since you won’t be at our regular meeting. Bring as many friends/relatives as you want. Tickets must be sold in advance, not at door.

¨  NEW CLUB TREASURER ANNOUNCED: At the recent Board of Directors meeting, Sue Craig was named to replace Bob Naylor as Treasurer. Bob is retiring from this position he’s held for the past 18 years. Sue is with Regions Bank (Formerly AmSouth).

¨  NEW MEMBER JON HOKE INDUCTED: Last week, Jon Hoke of Merrill Lynch was formally inducted into the Club by Mike Rooney. Tom Hannon is his sponsor.
